Philip Schofield has enjoyed immense success both as an actor and presenter. Having first found fame as a children’s presenter appearing on such programmes as Going LIve, he later turned to the stage where he received much critical acclaim as a performer in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Dr. Doolittle. On television he has hosted a variety of shows including; The Cube, All Star Mr and Mrs, You’re Back in the Room, Dancing On Ice, Text Santa and Test The Nation but he is perhaps best-known for co-hosting the daytime magazine programme This Morning on ITV. He has also made guest appearances on; Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Last Leg, Loose Women and Celebrity Juice.

Born in Oldham, Manchester, by the age of ten Philip Schofield had already decided he wanted to pursue a career in broadcasting.

Having first found fame as a children’s presenter appearing on such programmes as Going Live, he later turned to the stage where he received much critical acclaim as a performer in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Dr Doolittle. 

Since returning to television he, has hosted a variety of shows including; BAFTA winning The Cube, All Star Mr and Mrs, You’re Back in the Room, Dancing On Ice, Text Santa and Test The Nation but he is perhaps best-known for co-hosting the daytime magazine programme This Morning on ITV, which he began hosting with Fern Britton in 2002. He has since joined forces with Holly Willoughby on the show with whom he has won numerous awards including an unprecedented 11 consecutive National Television gongs.

Aside from his regular television presenting roles, Phil has also been entrusted with hosting numerous other prestigious live events such as; The British soap Awards, The Royal Variety Performance, Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Concert, The Royal Wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William and coverage of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Away from presenting he has also made guest appearances on programmes such as; Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Last Leg, Loose Women and Celebrity Juice to name but a few.
