Unquestionably one of the UK’s best-loved presenters, Graham rocketed up the popularity ratings courtesy of his Channel 4 chat shows, So Graham Norton and V Graham Norton which not only became two of the channels highest rated programmes but pretty much swept the board when it came to winning awards, including picking up four BAFTAs.
Graham has also enjoyed a string of success with his shows on the BBC where programmes include; Strictly Dance Fever, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria, Any Dream Will Do, I’d Do Anything, The One and Only, Totally Saturdays and The Graham Norton Show on which he has interviewed a veritable galaxy of stars including; David Beckham, Seth Rogan, Samuel L Jackson, Meryl Streep, Kylie Minogue, Zac Efron and Hugh Jackman to name but a few.
In addition, Graham has proved a popular choice as an awards host having fronted The British Academy Television Awards on a number of occasions.
He also replaced Sir Terry Wogan as the BBC presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest, a role he has fulfilled since 2008.
Versatile to a fault, he took audiences by storm enjoying a month long run as the flamboyant Albin in a West End production of La Cage Aux Folles and can also take credit as the Telegraph’s agony aunt!
