Despite beginning her presenting career on music shows, Liz’s roots are firmly in science. She has presented on programmes such as Springwatch and Autumnwatch as well as The Bang Theory, Super Smart Animals and Stargazing Live. Her latest projects include a geology series for Discovery Science, studying the science of volcanoes, earthquakes and ice ages.

Prof. Brian Cox: OBE

Professor Brain Cox studied for his Doctorate in Particle Physics during his time as a performer with the rock band, D:Ream. As if this were not enough, he is now best known to the public as a presenter of a number of science programmes for the BBC. Brian is a highly inspiring after dinner and conference speaker.

Journalist, doctor, producer and television presenter, Michael J Mosley is best know for his work producing programmes on biology and medicine and his frequent appearances on The One Show as resident medic. The inventor of text messaging and the active contact lens, he has worked in numerous branches of engineering, from aeronautics to cybernetics, sustainable transport to electronic cosmetics and was BT’s full-time futurologist for 16 years. He currently works for Futurizon.

Neil Oliver

Born in Scotland, Neil Oliver is an archaeologist, historian, author and broadcaster. He is best known as a presenter on the award winning BBC series Coast, centring on the landscapes, natural history and general history of The British Isles. He also recently presented The History of Scotland on BBC2 and completed series 1 of A History of Ancient Britain highlighting Stonehenge.
