The event went well thank you and Denise Lewis was fantastic. Came across so warm and genuine. An absolute pleasure to work with her. GE were very impressed.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you.  We have had tremendous feedback from guests – you pitched it just right.  Also they really appreciated you chatting to them during the reception and giving autographs.

"Paddy Ashdown is one of our most distinguished statesmen, and his knowledge and gravitas make him a fascinating speaker. He is full of interesting anecdotes, and still very much a man 'on the inside' of politics, making him a great choice for a business audience like ours".

Graham Bell

Quite possibly the best keynote speaker I have ever seen, Sir Ranuplh Fiennes was the highlight of our recent EMEA Members Conference. His delivery was faultless - Ran truly understands how to keep an audience engaged he has the best dry humor I have ever seen. It was certainly a keynote I will never forget.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes

When asked to write a testimonial about the service Trading Faces provided to me, only 3 words can to mind: 1. Efficient. 2. Accommodating and 3. Genuine. I for one would have no hesitations in recommending Ann Michelle and Trading Faces to anyone looking for a keynote speaker.

Trading Faces

I have to say that not many people actually impress me these days. But Sir Ranulph Fiennes who was the keynote speaker at the CompTIA event today absolutely blew me away with his speech.

Stressing the importance of picking the right team he then launched into an amazing look back on his life - from his early life in South Africa, through his days at Eton (hilarious comments on the academic abilities of some Etonians) and onto his military career, before talking us thorough some of his amazing expeditions.

This is the man who had a major heart attack and just weeks later ran seven marathons in seven continents. He has discovered a lost city, crossed both poles in a single expedition, mapped unchartered territory in the Antarctic, lost several fingers, burned off 8,500 calories a day and raised millions for worth charities such as the British Heart Foundation and cancer charities.

For the first time in my career I've found myself unable to take notes as I just wanted to listen to every word he said.

The average attention span of a human being is 10 minutes, but I've never seen a room so enthralled for a full hour before.

Not many people deserve the title Sir in my opinion but he is more than deserving of the accolade and is a true inspiration to us all.

Comptia Conference Day 2 - Sir Ranulph Fiennes

Having seen John report from some of the world’s most hostile conflicts and interview some of the world’s leading political figures, you can’t help but be in awe of a man who has literally seen and done it all before. However, to his credit, there is nothing ‘big time’ about John and I have to say he was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Thoughtful, interesting, charming and with razor sharp humour to light up even the most depressing story, he talks with passion and genuine enthusiasm about the things he has witnessed over the years, resulting in people hanging on to his every word.

In terms of what John provided for our event we could not have asked for anything more. Despite only arriving back from China the previous day and suffering from extreme jet lag, he arrived on-time, was prepared, polite and charming throughout and really made a point of engaging with our audience. His story telling and unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life was inspiring; a point later cemented when he wrote a personal message in each of my colleagues books upon leaving. It was a privilege to be in his company and I would recommend using John for almost any occasion given his knowledge and life experience.

As always, Ann and Suzie at Trading Faces were a constant source of help and resource and having worked with them on more than one occasion now, I firmly consider Trading Faces as our preferred supplier when it comes to recruiting top class celebrities who can really make a difference to your event.

Thanks again.

We just wanted to thank you and Dame Kelly for a wonderful day on Wednesday.

You have been a joy to work with in the run up to our Sports Hall opening, efficient and friendly, thank you.

From the moment Dame Kelly arrived, she was keen to work, and find out all the details relating to the school and how this development was achieved.  Dame Kelly was interested and a delight to speak with.

We were in no way prepared for what a great speech she would make to the children.  Hereford Cathedral was packed with 600 pupils and staff, and she held us all transfixed with her speech.  It was inspirational.  Her presentation style was relaxed, she walked around and really engaged with the pupils; the question and answer session went down really well.

Dame Kelly then went to the junior school to meet the 3-7 year old children, who were equally excited and dreamt up some great questions which were again handled with ease by Dame Kelly.  Her whole style was so genuine with the children, which is what the whole day was about.

The adults had a opportunity to speak with and ask autographs of Dame Kelly at the lunch, at which she made time for everyone.  If we hadn't called a halt to the autograph signings, I think she would have stayed all day.

We had a truly memorable day, and would like to thank Dame Kelly and you, for making it such a happy occasion.

With best wishes

Valerie Oliver-Davies JP - Governor of Hereford Cathedral School

Trading Faces

Jeremy has reported from some of the most hostile war zones around the world and yet, despite the seriousness of the job he does, he is extremely down to Earth and a joy to be around. I found myself drawn into his world on a number of occasions during the day and even after being shot at and losing his friend whilst reporting, it is clear that his passion and enthusiasm for the job he does still burns brightly.

We hired Jeremy as an after dinner speaker but also to interview our Chief Executive on behalf of our staff. To say he did a good job would be an understatement; he was fully prepared, asked meaningful questions and despite the seriousness of the interview he engaged the audience with humour at just the right times, ensuring that their interest was fixed on the stage throughout. Because he arrived so well prepared, he was able to extend on the questions we had given him and as a result the interview gained a lot of depth that our staff really took on board and got a lot out of. He was interesting, funny and really made an effort to ensure we were happy with what he provided on the day, happily signing books and posing for photos. It was a pleasure spending time with him and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other companies; he genuinely is a really great guy to work with.

Thanks to Ann and Suzie at Trading Faces who have, again, provided NAAFI with a top class celebrity to help make our event such a success.

I am writing to thank you both for a providing a first class service when you arranged for Diana Vickers personal appearance in Dumfries last week. Due to Diana’s appearance our event sold out in under 1 week with 1100 young people coming along to the concert. The event and the promotion around it allowed us to really promote our youth work services and it got the whole town talking.

When Diana done the autograph signing session at the youth centre all the young people commented on how nice Diana was and how she made each of them have a personal experience they will remember for in the future. All the youth workers commented on how refreshing it was to work with a performer and manager who enjoyed working with teenagers and showed this in their approach with the young people.

Diana’s performance at the event was excellent and had all the audience out of their seats. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the concert. Please pass on my thanks to Cellina for being so accommodating in our requests on the day.

I have now had the pleasure of working with you on sourcing acts for a number of events now and on every occasion you have been most accommodating and have been very patient with us.

Once again thank you for a excellent service and I will be more than happy to recommend Trading Faces and Diana to other local authorities in Scotland who are looking at doing similar events.

Yours faithfully

Allan Chapman & James, Insurance Brokers to the Media Industry, celebrated 20 years in the business, with a lavish Summer Ball held at the prestigious Westwood Park.

Clients, staff and suppliers were treated to a great evening’s entertainment. James was a fabulous surprise, especially for the ladies. He held his audience, and tailored his speech to include aspects of our company’s business, with an actor’s interpretation of the dreaded Medical Questionnaire which all actors are required to complete before filming begins, together with many hilarious stories related to the media industry which was entirely appropriate for a Media Insurer such as Allan Chapman & James. The standing ovation he received at the end of his speech said it all.

Nothing was too much trouble for James later in the evening. James was very patient, warm and photogenic, allowing plenty of time for autographs, pictures and amusing conversation, he especially endeared himself to the ladies with his Irish accent and charm!

I thought I would write and thank you and Chris for making our 30th Anniversary event at the Garden Centre such a  huge success.

Chris attended on 15th June, to the pleasure of our many existing and new customers.  He was extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly to both staff and customers alike.

We had record sales and transactions for the weekend, which was certainly helped by the publicity we placed in the Hertfordshire papers regarding Chris’s attendance, and the new customers he attracted.

Burston Garden Centre would have no hesitation in recommending Chris for other similar events, or indeed lectures.

We wish him every success for the future and again our thanks for his support.

Kind regards,

Lynette Arnott - Marketing Manager

The event went very well - Colin Jackson was excellent.  The team really enjoyed meeting him and hearing what he had to say.

On behalf of everyone at NAAFI I’d like to thank Trading Faces for all their hard work in arranging for Celebrity Chef, James Martin to attend our Catering Event.

From day one, your staff offered expert advice, guidance and support in helping us arrange the event, and thanks to the influence of James on the day we were thrilled with the way it turned out.

Whilst this event was a NAAFI initiative, we couldn’t have done this without James’s involvement, and the support and time he put in was outstanding. The Catering Heroes Competition is a brand new initiative by NAAFI and admittedly there were a few areas which we will need to iron out for next year’s event. However, it was extremely reassuring to have someone like James on-board, as his professionalism and ability to engage the crowd really did make sure the event was a resounding success.

All in all, his down-to-earth, good hearted personality was a pleasure to experience and we can only thank him for his enthusiasm and willingness to sign autographs and have his picture taken during what was an extremely busy few days. From speaking to soldiers, families and our own staff he has left a very positive impression on the BFG community over here in Germany and I sincerely hope that we can work with him again.

Whilst James was undoubtedly the star of the show on the night, Ann at Trading Faces was a star throughout. She kept us fully updated from start to finish and any queries we had were explained thoroughly and acted upon quickly. Her friendly personality really made the whole process effortless and it was a pleasure working with her.

Thanks to both James and Trading Faces for a fantastic evening.

Completely superb. Thoughtful, insightful, a carefully crafted speech that absolutely communicated with the interests and concerns of the audience; and a pleasure to work with.  Who could ask for anything more?

Many thanks.

Sincere apologies for the delay I have been rushing around all over the place since this event ended!

A few comments the group may find helpful are below:

"The best entertainment I have seen in many years, I had no idea who this group was but I am certainly now a fan"

"Only Men Aloud for me were the highlight of the entire weekend"

"They blew me away, I never expected them to be that good, I thought it was the TV which made them look so good but I now know its the same in real life also!"

"Only Men Aloud were outstanding, best choir I have ever heard"

"They were not just a choir, they were entertainers at the same time"

From our perspective the lads were a real pleasure to work with, they were most grateful at all our efforts and did not disturb or cause any sort of fuss which is often the case with any act especially the newer ones!

They were all extremely charming and we really enjoyed listening to them as well as working with them.

Their manager was also very helpful, polite and appreciative.

Trading Faces

As ever Trading Faces provided a professional, efficient and seamless service when booking Krishnan Guru Murthy for our recent conference. Krishnan was exceptionally well prepared and briefed for the event and showed genuine interest, commitment and knowledge in our particular subject matter. His enthusiasm and intelligence added real value to the conference and we are already looking to future events where we will be able to work with him again.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help in securing Paul Ross for us for our Firecracker ball. I have spoken to our Yorkshire fundraiser and she said that Paul was absolutely fantastic, and they were thrilled with him. They raised £81,000 from fundraising on the night, so once they’ve added all the figures up; expect to exceed their £100,000 target

Thanks again.

Just writing to thank you, and to thank Toyah, for all your help with the launch of the Spiritual Tides Whole Life Festival.  We've had some fantastic feedback from both public and exhibitors alike who were delighted Toyah was able to be with us to help promote the event.   It was wonderful that Toyah had such enthusiasm for our event, and hope that she enjoyed her time with us as much as we enjoyed her being part of the show

With many thanks again.
